Hawaii

Oh, Hawaii.

The first time I got to Hawaii I was 37. It was so much fun seeing it all through the kids eyes this go round!

We left the house at 3 AM Friday night and were in Maui by 11 am. It was a much easier trip than coming from the east coast. We had decided to return to Wailea as you can't beat it for beauty and things to do.

We had an amazing week of snorkling, SNUBA, paddle boarding, hiking and great dining. We took in a luau, drove the road to Hana, ate at Mama's Fish House, snorkeled and SNUBA at Molokini, hiked and most beautifully of all, RESTED.

Getting home on Sunday morning we were a mess (direct red eye home, we left at 8:30 at night and got in at 7 am). The kids go back to school today (love that fall break), and I am back to teaching. Details later. Happy fall, everyone!
