Day Three? Day Four? I don't know whats going on.

A fresh week. I didn't blog yesterday as I was busy during the day, then counted down the minutes until the presidential debate, which started at 7 our time.

I woke up and weighed in at 124…which had to be some sort of fluke. Looking back I think that I was dehydrated or something. I was good and active yesterday with a cardio/weights class first thing in the morning, a lot of cleaning (and a 2 hour Call the Midwife "rest", doh!) and then took a short run/plenty of walk during a childs soccer practice in the evening.

Stats were:
20,648 steps
67 floors
2,424 calories
140 minutes of exercise
9 hours 25 minutes of sleep

What I was, yesterday, was HUNGRY. I had an everything bagel with cream cheese for breakfast, a delicious Tom Kha Phak soup for lunch (with rice crackers and peanut butter), and then lots of snacking on the dinner that I spent the afternoon making ~ sautéed onion, zucchini and chicken in a homemade tomato sauce. I boiled the pasta before we left for our various soccer practices, and then we could just heat up a bowl for everyone when we got home. My stomach was upset and I wasn't hungry ~ I think too many hot peppers in my soup upset my stomach while I was running. I drank some mint tea and eventually felt better. I had a bowl of organic chicken meatballs and some cashews and an apple. Weird, but it worked. I woke up this morning at 126 so obviously the fluctuation worked itself out :)

Today I'm off to two classes ~ really trying to get more weights back into my life. I'm doing pump at 9:30 and a cardio sculpt class at 10:30. The rest of the day includes some organizing, cooking a pork loin and roasted vegetables, a walk with a friend at 2, and getting the boys haircuts after school. I'm starting to think that daily weigh in's are silly ~ I'm guessing I should probably go to weekly. There is obviously SO much fluctuation in weight just from water ~ and in Colorado you live and die by what you drink, that it's almost pointless to weigh in every day.

When you are trying to lose weight do you weigh yourself? (I haven't since I was 19, so I kindov forget the rules or recommendations around this). Does knowing you have to climb on the scale the next day help keep you accountable for what you eat, or do up and down fluctuations frustrate you?
