A deep commitment to change.
I am on a new gratitude mission. My theme for this fall is NOT going to be anxiety, it is NOT going to be sweating the small things, or fear, or anxiety over change, it is going to be GRATITUDE. It hit me like a lightening bolt in the pool today.
Today I am grateful for my bodies ability to swim.
Today I am grateful for the meaningful friendships in my life.
Today I am grateful for my mid day nap, and the fresh cut grass in my yard.
Today I am grateful for each of you who is reading this. Each of you matter to me so, so much.
Today I am grateful for my ability to come through this summer with my body and my family and my sense of humor intact. Today I am grateful for this scar on my leg, and the stronger person it has made me. Today I am grateful for my ability to catch myself before I fall off of precipices, despite my love of flirting with them.

Lots of changes here too. I am hanging on with you. Thanks you for the gratitude reminder. It's one I try to keep at the forefront, but it can slip easily behind other priorities (like breathing in and out!) when things get chaotic. Congrats on surviving 3 modules. I hope #5 is an easier homestretch once you get #4 out of the way. xo
ReplyDeleteWhere is the "like" button? I am thankful that you are my friend and that you are so much better than at the beginning of the summer. And I am thankful that your post reminded me to be thankful. Sometimes I forget. Love you!
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for you, who always seems to put things in perspective, at exactly the time I need to put them in perspective too.
