I'm yoga retreat shopping.
Kripalu, Omega…..anywhere?
Anyone have any recommendations? I'd prefer not more than 5 days so things like Hawaii or anything taking crazy travel from the East Coast is out.

You could come down here for the children's yoga teacher training 5/2-4 (though - not sure if the school is YA affiliated at the moment) and see about staying at the ashram for some time on either end :) two birds...
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely NOT the kind of retreat where you book spa treatments, though ;-) There's a daily schedule, morning meditation and hatha, afternoon meditation, evening hatha and other study classes with Chandra. Lots of time for just quiet reflection - in fact, it would be totally respected if you wanted to spend some time in moun (not speaking). Opportunities for karma yoga, working on the grounds & gardens. Very spiritually oriented. There'd be chanting! No white turbans, though.

That sounds amazing. I'm not looking for a spa sort of thing ~ more meditative and yoga focused. I can spa right here :). I can't do those dates as we have an event but Im going to email you…..xoxo
