Well, here we go………..

My thank you cards. If there is one thing I've learned in life its the power of a well timed and well written (handwritten!!!!) thank you card. These will soon be flying off of my desk.
Business cards. For a dream of a business in its infancy.

(edited to remove business card for privacy reasons)

Anyone know anyone who does website design? I need some VERY basic help in setting up the domain that I just bought. I can't be going out to do 1:1 instruction and not have a card, and I don't want to spam my 500 Facebook friends, many of whom live far away, with daily yoga teaching info. Need a website, need a just yoga Facebook page, so needed a name.

Melissa means honeybee. The three bees represent my sweet babies. The circle represents unity, wholeness, infinity. And blessed? Yes, I do, I feel incredibly blessed to be given the opportunity to share this beautiful practice of yoga with people. I hope that others can find the same healing, the same spirit, the same peace, or even just a good old fashioned stretch if that is all that they are looking for. I hope I can simply meet them where they are, every day, and be a blessing to them.

I once was a doula for a woman who spoke limited English. In Spanish, giving birth was referred to as "dar a luz" ~ literally "to give to light". It always sounded so much more beautiful than the good old "giving birth" or "having a baby". To give to light. To bring from darkness, into light. I'm hoping to bring this tiny little dream of a someday studio into the light. And its going to be a ton of steps between here and there……but today, with a name and a hope and a little leap of faith sweet Blessed Bee Yoga is dar a luz. Thank you for being here to witness it :) You've been here all along, of course. Namaste.

  3. Yay! I seriously wear them all the time these days with the heat, they are so comfy! Also did I tell you they have an instructor discount program for regular priced stuff? It's somewhere on the website, you send them an email with your info & they give you a coupon code :) prana may also offer such a program but I think you have to be teachings at least 15 hours a week so I haven't qualified yet .

  4. Love your logo! My SIL actually does graphic design and websites. I have no idea what she charges, but she created Bill's website. She uses Wordpress (whatever their professional version is), so it's really easy to use and update yourself. (For example if you wanted to get into search engine optimization at some point, posting blog content helps boost your site traffic...blahblahblah.) Anyway, if you're still looking, this is her: http://www.outofsightdesigns.com/

In pulling that link, I see she does have prices. I'm thinking you'd be at the lower end because you already have your logo design. But may still be more than you are looking to spend (especially if you have a pal with skills who can hook you up).

  6. I adore the logo. It is so meaningful, but so not in your face meaningful. :) I wish you tons of luck with this. If I was closer, I would come take classes from you. :D
