Adding classes!

A prenatal yoga class designed for women at all stages of pregnancy. A relaxing hatha yoga practice designed to help you physically and emotionally prepare for childbirth while maintaining strength and flexibility during pregnancy. Learn to adjust to the physical changes your body is experiencing and manage discomforts while increasing your energy and strengthening muscles you will use for labor and delivery.  By keeping your body strong and flexible during pregnancy you will also help make your postpartum recovery period easier. We will incorporate breath work and will end each class with an extended relaxation period meant to help you connect to your baby and leave class feeling refreshed and nurtured.
This class is also open to women who have recently given birth and are looking to gently resume exercising! Feel free to bring your own yoga mat, but we do have mats available for you to use. Dress comfortably and bring water. No prior yoga experience is necessary, many women first start doing yoga when they are pregnant!

Okay, there it is! Coming in September :)

In better yet news I got an email from the Group X coordinator today telling me that she had gotten requests for more classes from me (!?!?!?!) and wanted to know if I'd like to teach a poolside (outside!) power flow class weekly, starting next week. Wheeeee. A good day. A little more stillness. Danced away the blues this morning. So, so ready for the school year and all of these little nagging busywork things to end. Getting my class description approved and asked to teach another weekly class was the afternoon pick me up to an all around great day. Tonight? Sitting in stillness. Had a 40 minute yoga session with the kids tonight after dinner. Their first meet is on Thursday, and while practicing with them tonight they suddenly felt like teenagers ~ these gigantic long bodies and vocabularies and minds and imaginations.                     How can 7, 6 and 4 feel so grown up?
